Client: Waitemata District Health Board (NZ)
Consultant: Ecological Associates
Waitemata District Health Board comprises a number of hospitals and health centres across Auckland. Travel has become a key issue for the organisation, for how both patients and staff access health services.
Ecological Associates was engaged to assess this issue and suggest ways to address it. I was contracted to help develop behaviour-change resources promoting more sustainable modes of travel to and from sites. This involved site research and mapping, and the subsequent development of a user-friendly style for presenting localised information that helped people choose healthier and more sustainable transport options.
